    Job DescriptionAbout the job

    We are looking for an experienced surveyor to ensure our projects are delivered on time and with accuracy. Your basic responsibilities will also include calculating land boundaries in several locations and creating maps and reports of survey results for clients.

    This role requires hands-on experience with engineering instruments and knowledge of GPS and GIS systems. To succeed as a surveyor, you should also have great mathematical and analytical skills, and a good eye for measurements.

    Responsibilities:

    • Must have a Professional Surveyors License in OK. Professional Surveyor License in Kansas is a bonus.
    • Perform ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys, Plat of Highways, Route
    • Surveys, Topographic Surveys, Construction Staking and Transportation projects with ODOT.
    • Maintain and adhere to QA/QC procedures/note taking and maintaining office and field project material.
    • Ability to communicate with members of the general public as well as coworkers.
    • Follow instructions/work orders from project managers.
    • 5+ years of land surveying experience in charge of field crews for all aspects of surveying and types of surveys.
    • Proficiency with Topcon GPS, Topcon Robotic Total Station, Topcon Data Collectors.
    • Construction layout, ability to read and comprehend Construction Plans.
    • Strong math skills.
    • Valid driver's license.
    • Civil 3D Auto CAD Experience is a must.
    • Ability to organize field notes and execute field staking.
    • Strong verbal/communication skills and computer skills.
    • Perform record search at recorders offices and government entities.
    • Prepare legal descriptions. Sign and Seal all survey plans prepared and calculated.
    • Business development/Marking of Survey skills
    • Proficient with ODOT Standards/ Code lists and survey requirements.
