    What Youll Do

    The GSK US Walmart Team is rapidly expanding in terms of its focus and investment in Walmart Connect (Walmarts Media Group).

    The Walmart Omnichannel Marketing Lead will evolve from a focus on Shopper Marketing to also include E-Commerce, as well as leading media planning and performance marketing for the Walmart Team.

    This role will lead a team of 2 direct reports that may evolve to at least 1 more over the next year, as well as lead a cross functional team of E-Commerce Sales, Media, Insights, and Performance Marketers to ensure that the joint business plan and overall strategy for growth with Walmart is maximized.

    The Walmart Omnichannel Marketing Lead will also have responsibility for leading the US Marketing Team to ensure the Categories and Brands are up to date on all of the latest media capabilities from Walmart as well as the results the team is bringing to bear as a result of our partnership

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead overall omnichannel strategy for Walmart inclusive of Shopper Marketing and E-Commerce
    • Own strategy and activation across the GSK portfolio of product
    • Manage the Shopper Engagement Team at Walmart which consists of this role and two Shopper Engagement Managers
    • Lead a cross functional team supporting Walmart+ and the Walmart omnichannel strategy consisting of 2 E-Commerce CSMs, Performance Marketing, Media, and Insights
    • Manage Shopper Engagement budget, strategically investing to improve ROI and efficiency and make recommendations to Marketing for the Brand directed Media budget to Walmart
    • Drive sales and consumption through brand-specific activations & category-driving platforms and GSK Scale both in-store and through digital activation and E-Commerce.
    • Partner with Customer Strategy/Insights to understand new opportunities to drive growth with a foundation in the Shopper Purchase Journey Oversee agency team, managing deadlines and ensuring flawless execution
    • Build customized 360-degree campaigns for Tier-1 launches
    • Lead and establish relationships with Walmart Connect and Walmart Merchandising to align on retailer and GSK strategies
    • Actively engage in customer meetings with Merchandising, Marketing, E-Comm and Loyalty teams
    • Negotiate annual Marketing JBP agreement with Walmart
    • Steer high-visibility projects, presenting with confidence to Walmart senior management
    • Leverage shopper insights to design highly-targeted and relevant campaigns for Walmart shoppers
    • Manage Agency resources to develop best in class campaigns inclusive of audience targeting and amplification and breakthrough creative that drives conversion
    • Design and conduct research within GSK Shopper Science Lab that challenge and enhance Walmart strategies
    • Advance GSK digital innovation by testing new media partners and understanding industry trends
    • Champion the appropriate and effective use of the Visual Brand Language across all in store, omni channel and online retailer elements of the marketing activation plan
    • Define campaign KPIs by incorporating measurement to determine ROI and influence future activations
    • Can help lead and establish Shopper strategies within GSK based on key learnings from Walmart
    • Share best practices
    • Help to lead / guide category activations across GSK when needed



    Basic Qualifications:
    We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

    • Bachelors Degree
    • Minimum 5+ years marketing or sales experience, preferably in a consumer healthcare environment
    • CPG Experience with understanding of Retail Landscape; Food Channel knowledge a plus
    • Expertise in Digital Marketing / Media (including Ecomm, Mobile, Social, SEO / SEM, Analytics)

    Preferred Qualifications:
    If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

    • MBA preferred
    • 10+ years marketing or sales experience, preferably in a consumer healthcare environment
    • Expertise in Digital Marketing, Analytics and Measurement
    • On the forefront of Media, Digital and Omnichannel trends (including Digital Commerce, Mobile, Social, SEO / SEM, Analytics)Demonstrated performance leading a cross functional team
    • Visionary, strategic mindset and a can do attitude; recognizing and capitalizing on growth opportunities for brand and retailer categories
    • Capable of independently leading commercial innovation
    • Ability to multi-task with excellent project management skills
    • Strategic Joint Business Planning, both short term (1yr) and long-term (3-5 yr visionary planning)
    • Understanding of Shopper Marketing Agency processes
    • Ability to multi-task with excellent project management skills
    • Ability to drive relationship across multiple stakeholders (both internal & external)
    • Experience in a consumer healthcare environment preferred
