Description

We are seeking a skilled Telecom Field Technician to install, maintain, and repair telecommunications systems, including phone, internet, and cable services.

This role is crucial for ensuring high-quality commercial customer service and system reliability. The technician will work on-site at various locations, diagnosing technical issues, and ensuring optimal system performance. No residencial clients.


Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently manage time and work independently, following detailed instructions.
• Expertise in pulling, terminating, and managing various cable types.
• Proficient in different cable installation methods.
• Capable of mounting and installing backboards, crossconnect racks, and patch panels.
• Install and configure telecommunications equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair faults in telecom networks.
• Perform regular maintenance on network components.
• Educate customers on the use of installed equipment and provide exceptional customer service.
• Keep detailed records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Maintain a keen attention to detail and follow established procedures

Required Tools:

A list of the required tools will be provided at the interview.


Qualifications:

• Technical diploma or equivalent experience in telecommunications.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the telecommunications field.
• Strong understanding of telecom systems and equipment, including knowledge of BICSI national standards.
• Exceptional customer service skills and experience.
• Ability to work in various outdoor and indoor environments.
• Excellent problemsolving skills.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to different sites.
