Balanced Environments, Inc. a leading area landscape and snow removal contractor seeks motivated individuals for our Spray Tech (Chemical Operator) position in Pewaukee, WI, with Pesticide Applicator License.

Job Purpose:


Responsibilities and Essential Task Activities:

Must be well versed in all chemicals needed for the successful management of weeds, pests, and fungus.

Accurate identification of weeds, pests, insects, and diseases that prey upon them.
-
Be able to understand and accurately interpret all labels of chemicals used (e.g. pesticides, fertilizers, and growth retardants).

Applies pesticides as needed in accordance with prescribed use and within accepted industry practices, and rules and requirements of various Federal, State, and local regulatory agencies.

Prepares and mixes chemical agents used in the trade; prepares work area prior to the beginning job and cleans area after completion of the job.

Ensures the safe and appropriate use of various chemical agents and substances, mixing such according to label instructions and product specifications, and using in accordance with prescribed safety precautions and directions.

Skills/Qualifications:


- Possession of a current Pesticide Applicator License and Certification.
-
Bi-lingual preferred but not required.
-
Valid driver's license.
-
Must be energetic, self-motivated, and thoroughly organized.

Pay:
$ $27.00 per hour
