Important Notes:


  • Initially the shift is, 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM later the hours will be 09:00 AM to 06:00 PM.
  • This is a 12 months W2 contract position with possible contract extensions and contract to hire based upon performance.
  • Receive materials and/or finished goods daily.
  • Verify the quality, type, and amount of materials received are correct and that the appropriate documentation is present (e.g. packing list).
  • Examine, sort, arrange, count, store, pick, and pack items for storage and/or shipment by established procedures and customer requirements.
  • Prepare routine documentation.
  • Operate material handling equipment (e.g. hand truck, pallet jack, dock lever, etc.).
  • Prepare and ship materials and/or finished goods promptly according to customer requirements.
  • May perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.
  • This position largely interacts with equivalent levels of internal personnel and such interactions require good communication skills and customer service skills.
  • Effectiveness in this role also requires functional knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory control procedures.
  • The job encounters recurring work situations of a routine nature where the ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required.
  • Accuracy is required in performing all functions of this position; errors in work could cause delays in schedules.
  • This position requires the individual to be ready to start work on time daily.
  • Unplanned unapproved missedtime is required to be less than 2% annually.
  • The incumbent normally receives general instruction on routine work and detailed instruction on new assignments.

$ $17.50 per hour
