Danwood, SC is looking for an intern to join our team in Berlin-Brandenburg for a 5/6 month period starting in March/April 2023.

As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work directly with the GigaBerlin Construction Purchasing Team.

Your main responsibilities will include assisting with all purchasing related activities for infrastructure and facilities, acting as a central point of contact for internal queries, and learning how to create vendor proposals, purchase orders, and manage supply demands.

This role will provide you with the chance to develop your skills in an international corporation through both operational and project work.


Responsibilities:

  • Support in procuring generic goods and services for construction and infrastructure at GigaBerlin
  • Analyze existing requirements and pricing to ensure costeffectiveness
  • Assist Supply Managers with data analysis
  • Participate in Tesla's ProcuretoPay processes
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers on a daily basis
  • Review and clarify quote packages from suppliers
  • Issue new Purchase Orders for commodity price changes
  • Expand the supplier pool for assigned commodities

Requirements:

  • Fluent in English, German language skills are a plus
  • Currently studying a relevant field such as Business, Supply Chain, Construction Technology, or equivalent
  • Proficient in Excel, knowledge of SQL, Power BI, and Vertica is preferred
  • Ability to work with different data sources and analyze data
  • Strong budget and cost analysis skills
  • Comfortable working in a fastpaced and dynamic
