The community you'll be caring for: AdventHealth Riverview

  • AdventHealth is expanding our medical expertise, innovation, and stateoftheart technology to southern Hillsborough County through a brandnew hospital in Riverview, which is scheduled to open in 202
  • The new AdventHealth Riverview hospital will include 82 beds at time of opening with space to expand to 202 beds in the future.
  • This $250 million project in Riverview also includes a 100,000 square foot, fourstory Medical Office Building that will provide community members convenient access to expert care.
  • AdventHealth Riverview will offer a wide range of health care services which includes emergency, cardiovascular, digestive, urology, orthopedic and women's care.

The role you'll contribute:

The Registered Nurse provides self-directed, effective nursing care to groups of patients and other duties as assigned in accordance with Division of Nursing standards and pursuant to Florida Department of Professional Regulation, Chapter a): Practice of professional nursing means the performance of those acts requiring substantial specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skill based upon applied practices of psychological, biological, physical, and social sciences.

  • Theobservation,assessment,nursingdiagnosis,planning,intervention,andevaluationofcare; health teaching and counseling of the ill, injured or infirmed; and the promotion of wellness, maintenance of health and prevention of illness and others.
  • Theadministrationofmedicationandtreatmentsasprescribedorauthorizedbyadulylicensed practitioner authorized by the laws of this state to prescribe such medications and treatments.
  • Considersfactorsrelatedtosafety,effectiveness,costandimpactonpracticeinthedeliveryof nursing services.
  • Identifies expected outcomes for the plan of care individualized to the patient or situation and forunitspecific PI outcomes.
  • Demonstratesrespectforcoworkersanddevelopspositiveworkingrelationshipswithother departments.

Qualifications:


The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

  • Graduate of a school of Nursing.
  • CurrentRNLicensetoworkinStateofFlorida
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS
