Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative supervision to social workers. Is responsible for supervisory decisions of staff in their daily tasks.
  • Fulfills the dual role of supervisor and social worker thus having responsibilities not only to Care Management, but also to a clinical workload.
  • In addition, provides direction and guidance to work unit personnel; provides analysis of the work process to improve outcomes and services; oversees the orientation and performance management of those supervised; and attends appropriate meetings to gain and share necessary information with other areas.
  • Completes other duties as assigned.
  • The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span.
  • The ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and appropriately interpret information relative to the patient's agespecific needs is required.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Social Work and a minimum four years of social work experience in a hospital or medical setting required.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) credential from a qualified state board required upon hire.
  • Arizona LMSW license must be obtained within sixty days and maintained thereafter.

Pay:
$73, $109,450.00 per year
