Your team and your responsibilities:Team description
Do you want to take part in the development of the car of tomorrow? The Purchasing team at Toyota Motor Europe can offer you this challenge. Located in the heart of Europe, Purchasing plays a key strategic role in the development of our future products. As a buyer you will develop and manage all aspects of the commercial relationship between Toyota and its suppliers, located all over Europe. This position will allow you to have an insight into the most recent technical innovations and will enable you to get a deep understanding of how a leading multinational operates and interacts with numerous internal and external parties.
Your responsibilties
? You provide the link between Toyota Europe and our component suppliers developing new products for the next generation of automobiles in Europe.
? You take responsibility from product development through to pre-production and into mass production using Toyotas unique production preparation methodology and teamwork approach.
? You are supporting the preparation team of Design, Quality & Logistics people, of both Toyota and suppliers
? You continuously promote innovations and improvements, ensuring on-time preparation leading to the successful introduction of your parts into mass production.
? You work together with your suppliers, improve and develop their mass production performance inthe areas of quality, delivery and productivity based on Toyota Production Systems requirements.
