The Family Place Utah is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization striving to achieve its mission of Strengthening Families and Protecting Children in Cache, Rich, and Franklin counties through therapy, education, and 24-hour Kid's Place care and shelter services.
The IT (Information Technology) Specialist is a full-time position that maintains responsibility for all technology needs at The Family Place Utah in all locations.
These needs would include ensuring new user accounts and identities for NAS (Network Attached Storage), VPN (Virtual Private Network) LAN (Local Area Network) and Wi-fi (Wireless Network) connections.
In addition, this position will be responsible for configuring and troubleshooting various network hardware systems, handling employee queries, and providing general support for agency IT needs.
The IT Specialist is expected to provide technological support at agency events including handling slideshows, sound, microphones, etc.The position is responsible for building security, VoIP phone system, computer updates and supervising other employees on the IT team.
The IT Specialist is a direct report to the Operations Director.Duties Synopsis:
The IT Specialist maintains an intermediate knowledge of computer software and hardware systems as well as a variety of internet applications and operating systems.
