- Review insurance policies to assess coverage for losses and engage coverage analysis attorneys when needed.
- Settle claims within authorized limits.
- Collaborate with adjusters, insured parties, attorneys, and agents to ensure effective and professional claims handling.
- Participate in mediations and negotiate settlements within given authority.
- Supervise vendors (attorneys/adjusters/experts) for accurate reporting and audit invoice precision.
- Manage incoming and outgoing claims and vendor payments.
- Oversee the loss fund.
- Recommend policy wording modifications.
- Provide status updates and respond to claim inquiries.
- Generate regular reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Travel for client meetings, mediations, and underwriter interactions, with around 25% out-of-office commitment.
- Mandatory Requirements:
High School Diploma
College degree or equivalent work experience
Claims Adjuster's license
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Capacity to work under time constraints and meet deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in operating office equipment and computer applications

Process claims, including policy evaluation for coverage, coordination with insured individuals, outside adjusters, agents, and lawyers, and ensuring timely claims payment.
In addition, creation of reports like loss runs and monthly bordereau.This remote position will focus on handling Commercial Auto Liability, Garagekeepers, and On Hook/Cargo Claims.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
