Job Description:


The Omni Richmond Hotel is hiring for a Front Desk Supervisor to provide leadership support to the amazing Front Office team.


As the Front Desk Supervisor, you will accommodate guests during their stay in an attentive, courteous and friendly manner to ensure that there are positive guest interactions and appropriate resolutions.


Pay Rate:
$18.00 per hour


Responsibilities:

To be a team leader, you will be responsible for...

  • Being thoroughly acquainted with all checkin policies and procedures.
  • Being experienced and empowered to handle various guest scenarios.
  • Ensuring all hotel policies and procedures are being followed; Delegating shift responsibilities and checklists, as well as assisting and guiding the Front Office team in daily duties.
  • Being familiar with all technical equipment related to the Front Desk.
  • Being familiar with all hotel facilities and offerings.
  • Understanding the influence and importance of all departments on the Front Desk.
  • Assisting with the training of new Front Office associates.
  • Being familiar with shift checklist and be able to run the desk in absence of the department managers.
  • Understanding how to and being able to balance the hotel's reservations, room types, and special accommodations
  • Understanding all radio codes and emergency procedures.
  • Assiting with continously encouraging and boosting the morale of the Front Office
  • Recognizing outstanding performances by associate by participating in the Omni Service Champion program

Qualifications:
The basic qualifications to be successful in this role are:

  • Ability to maintain high standards of service in a luxury hotel
  • Ability to efficiently lead by example and work within a team
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Flexible availability, including being able to working overnight shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Familiarity with OPERA PMS system preferred
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must have hotel experience
  • Must have supervisor/management experience
