Responsibilities:

  • Leading MEP planning teams for workspace projects ranging from 2,000m2 to 20,000m2 (LP1 to LP8)
  • Representing Buro Happold at external meetings
  • Responsibility for design review and quality control of mechanical and electrical disciplines in the workspace portfolio
  • Managing technical resource plans using the Buro Happold Deltek tool, as well as monitoring work resources and expenses
  • Managing the workload of engineers and technicians in project disciplines
  • Assisting in the establishment and management of project management systems
  • Ensuring that technical inquiries, change orders, and design changes are processed in a timely manner in the design office to minimize impact on the construction site
  • Keeping senior staff informed of important and relevant service/design decisions
  • Ensuring that best practices, policies, strategies, and services represent the best interests of our clients
