Description
This position is responsible for the operation of our current Laser Epilog Fusion M2, 24" x 40" bed, CO2 Laser - 60 watt and Fiber Laser - 30 watt.
With the expectations of managing future acquisitions of more Laser equipment.Responsibilities:
- Ability to process work orders and complete the cutting operation which may include bagging, tagging, cleaning, labeling, and processing parts for shipping
- Work through cutting issues with limited assistance from the Process Engineer
- Working knowledge of calipers or rulers for measuring dimensions and tolerances on the work order and/or drawing
Requirements and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Laser Operator or similar machine shop equipment is required
- AutoCAD training is preferable
- General math skills are a plus
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work independently processing orders
- Be able to determine an acceptable part
- Understanding blueprint/drawing tolerances
- Read, speak and understand English
- Physical ability to work in a standing position for prolonged periods
- Ability to read, understand and comprehend work instructions, drawings, dimensions and tolerances, fractions, decimals, inches, and millimeters
- Capable of multitasking in a fastpaced environment
- Able to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Ability to set priorities based on workload and due dates to customer
Pay:
$ $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
