Reporting to the Inventory Manager, the Inventory Associate I position is responsible to support the management and coordination of inventory controls and logistics throughout the entire supply chain process from procurement to internal handling for production to final shipping to customers.

This position supports the Senior Supervisors and Lead's efforts and works collaboratively with all aspects of Operations and Sales creating effective strategies to optimize inventory controls.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES (Essential Job Functions)

• Understands harvesting and breakdown with electronic parts
• Ensures and inspects that product stock is adequate for all distribution channels and can cover direct demand from customers
• Places orders to replenish stock avoiding insufficiencies or excessive surplus
• Works with warehouse to set up and layout efficient space utilization
• Follows well defined procedures as outlined by Best Practices, creates and follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and work instructions
• Embraces Practical Process Improvement (PPI) methodologies
• Accesses and utilizes Quality team's expertise and direction as needed to comply with GMP, if needed
• Assists with data collection, report generation and site metric development in support of contractual obligations and best practice methodologies
• Analyzes data to anticipate future needs
• Works effectively with a diverse crossfunctional team
• Collaborates with all Avante employees to ensure business goals are met
• Works professionally and efficiently with all level within the organization
• Adheres to all company employment policies and safe practices
• Performs other duties as assigned

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Associate Degree in Business, Accounting or associated field preferred
• 02 years' experience in relevant experience
• Medical device experience, highly preferred.
• Experience in a scientific or medical manufacturing setting, highly preferred
• Experience in GLP/GMP environment, preferred
• Strong working knowledge of inventory management software (e.g. ERP)
• The Inventory Associate I will be trained to the training SOP and QF
• Delegate will train the Inventory Associate I so that he or she knows how to locate the current revisions of applicable (see Training Matrix) Procedures, Forms, and Service Manuals that govern his / her work.

POSITION COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Schedule: M-F, 7am 4pm (one hour lunch)
• Competitive hourly rate in the range of $18.00 to $21.00, commensurate with experience
