Description

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for fulfilling orders to customers and vendors as well as maintaining the organization of the inventory in the warehouse itself.

Key Responsibilities:
Physically verify quantities to ensure that orders are picked correctly

Pack, label, and ship orders

Maintain and organize shipping supplies as well as the warehouse inventory

Schedule shipments as necessary (DHL & TNT)

Provide shipping quotes as requested

Trace lost shipments and submit claims/disputes

Maintain records of outgoing and incoming shipments

Receive and inspect incoming shipments for shortages

Partake in Year-End and general Inventory procedures as requested

Drive to courier and vendor locations (as needed only)

Required Abilities:
Excellent communication skills

Ability to accurately and efficiently input data

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Ability to stand frequently for extended periods

Attention to detail in fast-paced environment

Ability to problem solve under pressure while keeping calm and in a professional manner

Ability to work well independently or as part of a team

Must be detailed oriented

Experience:

Experience with domestic and international shipping

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Valid Driver's license required

Experience with shipping software (UPS, FedEx, and USPS)

High school diploma or GED equivalent required - Associates Preferred

Experience with StarShip ERP desired

Experience submitting Amazon Routing Requests desired

One or more years of shipping experience desired
