Description
Title - Operations Coordinator
Hours - Monday - Friday, 7a - 330p (occasional weekends and/or OT based on business needs).
Location Talcott St Houston, TX 77015
Type - Full Time/Permanent
Responsibilities
- Guarantee that the delivered and returned equipment counts are 100% reliable.
- Ensure that the type of equipment being delivered or returned by the client is correct.
- Monitor the compliance of established procedures for yard audits.
- Conduct the inventory movement control between warehouses.
- Assists in creating and fulfilling stock transfer orders.
- Assists in creating nonrental fleet purchases requisitions.
- Source equipment from within the company.
- Solicit multiple freight quotes and arrange freight services to manage shipping and receiving expenses.
- Creates material movement transactions.
- Responsible to produce, maintain, and manage the Project Delivery & Return Schedules.
- Assists with Cross-Applications for Inventory Adjustments.
- Knowledge of Inventory Control.
- Perform field observations, audits, and inspections to identify hazards and improvements at the workplace.
- Assist with safety meetings and conduct training programs for employees.
- Compile management reports and assist with recordkeeping requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a manufacturing/ warehouse environment.
- Attention to detail and good time management skills.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong working capability of company's inventory management software (Nextgen, Profield, etc) and/or be a quick learner with computer programs, intermediate or stronger skills with Excel and Microsoft Word.

The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.
