Schmitt Engineering is a medium-sized company headquartered in Erlangen. With many years of engineering expertise in various industries, we are a partner to the industry. Our activities cover the entire process chain from planning and project management to development and design, as well as production, assembly, and commissioning.

Your responsibilities:

  • Reporting and coordination with project management, as well as participation in status meetings
  • Support in the temporal and logical mapping of business processes in the overall schedule, as well as creating a basic plan
  • Review of the schedule for potential critical situations, presentation and monitoring of the critical path across all trades, and early detection of schedule deviations in the project and individual schedules
  • Support in developing alternative schedule scenarios, developing solutions with interface partners, tracking problem resolutions, checking effectiveness, and escalation

Your profile:

  • Completed degree in electrical engineering and control technology or a comparable qualification
  • Professional experience as a scheduler in plant or project business, ideally in the field of rail vehicle technology
  • Excellent knowledge of methods for schedule, resource, and project planning, as well as controlling
  • Excellent knowledge of Primavera EPPM P6
  • Good knowledge of SAP, MS Project, and MS Office
  • Excellent German, English, and French language skills in
