- Manages the allocated project in technical properties and executes scope of work within field of specialization.
- May execute sub-systems of more complex projects in conjunction with Project Manager and approves deliverables of designs.
- Participates in internal and external project reviews or project meetings and organizes and participates in debriefing meets following project conclusion.
- Prepares all necessary project execution specifications for purchase orders and ensures timely submission of purchase orders.
- Prepares documentation for the installation processes and prepares work packages for other locations as needed.
- Resolves issues and answer questions that may occur during the design, manufacturing, installation and/or commissioning phase of projects.
- May escalate more complex questions or issues to leadership personnel for resolution or guidance.
- Tracks project schedules to ensure tasks are completed on time and in totality.
- Manages assigned budget, including cost and quality of subcontracted design services.
- Provides technical support for claim and deviation management as needed; uses Bhler CAQ system to track deviations.
- Participates in continual learning activities and applies practical applications to work performed.
- Must arrive to work predictably and promptly.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Technical/Vocational diploma or degree from an accredited institution in mechanical, electrical or automation engineering or related field.
- 2 years of related experience; or a combination of education and experience.
- Microsoft Office required.
- Knowledge and experience with the following preferred: Hardware - AutoCAD, Ebase or Eplan; Software - Windows Server 2012, Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Server 2012, VMware, HyperV; PCL - Studio 5000, TIA Portal.
- Speaks and understands English
- Domestic and international travel 10-20% time which may include long hours and non-traditional work schedules
