About Our Opportunity

As a Case Management Nurse on our KISx (Keep It Simple Surgery) team, you'll liaise between patients and provider facilities ensuring timely scheduling of imaging appointments and execution of surgical procedures with direct contracted providers.


Things You'll Do Here:


  • Schedule and manage imaging appointments for patients, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Organize and schedule surgical procedures with direct contracted providers, ensuring all necessary preparations are made.
  • Act as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers, advocating for patient needs and preferences.
  • Conduct initial clinical assessments of patients to determine appropriate care and necessary medical procedures.
  • Collaborate with various healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and share important medical information.
  • Assist patients with benefit coverage, and coordinate with billing departments to ensure coverage for procedures and appointments.
  • Provide patients with information and education about their medical procedures, postprocedure care, and overall health management.
  • Arrange for followup appointments and ensure continuity of care postprocedures.
  • Ensure all patient care activities comply with healthcare regulations and standards and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

What You'll Bring to the Team:

  • Current RN license.
  • 2+ of experience in a similar Case Management or Patient-Provider Coordinator position
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with a creative approach to decisionmaking.
  • Ability to work effectively with custom software for documenting daily calls and case notes.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • A solid understanding of the healthcare system from the perspectives of providers, insurers, and patients.
  • A plus if you have _
  • Surgical/Med-Surg experience.
