Job Title - Design Drafter III - Non-Exempt

Job Location - Brooklyn Park, Minnesota 55428

• Role is required to be on sight at Brooklyn Park 4 days a week, Monday thru Thursday, along with the rest of the team. Individual will be on site 5 days initially until trained and proficient. . Once the individual is trained and proficient there is flexibility to WFH on specific instances for work/life balance needs as they come up such as appointments.,

Job Description -

• Role requires experience in Drafting and 3D modeling in CREO and also autoCAD/Draftsight. Knowledge of good drafting practices including GD&T is a must.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Plans, lays outs, draws, models and revises detailed part, assembly, and installation engineering drawings from basic layouts, established references, and standard data for medical devices, parts, assemblies and packaging.
• Utilizes computer aided design equipment and/or graphic tools, specifically 3D CAD software CREO and most be familiar with AutoCAD/Draftsight as well as familiarity with PDM link.
• Completes details of major layout drawings prepared by others in accordance with standard engineering drafting practices and use of GD&T.
• Determines scaling; inserts necessary reference planes, centering and dimension lines, hidden line interpolations, and sectioning; prepares specifications for parts, assemblies, and installations; prepares complete production detail drawings; contributes design modifications to improve quality of product or facilitate manufacturing operations.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Requires complete and broad knowledge of operational systems, techniques and practices typically gained through extensive experience and/or education.
• Requires minimum of 4 years of relevant experience; vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience preferred.
