Seeking an experienced Mechanical Designer/Drafter proficient in CREO, AutoCAD/DraftSight for detailed part and assembly drawings in a regulated industry setting.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in drafting
• Extensive experience in drafting and 3D modeling using CREO and AutoCAD/DraftSight
• Profound knowledge of Good Drafting Practices, including GD&T
• Familiarity with PDM Link
• Background in medical device or other regulated industries

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to produce detailed production drawings and contribute design modifications to improve product quality or facilitate manufacturing operations

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, layout, draw, model, and revise detailed part, assembly, and installation engineering drawings from basic layouts, established references, and standard data
• Utilize computer-aided design equipment and/or graphic tools, focusing on 3D CAD software CREO and familiarity with AutoCAD/DraftSight
• Complete details of major layout drawings prepared by others in accordance with standard engineering drafting practices using GD&T
• Determine scaling, insert necessary reference planes, centering and dimension lines, hidden line interpolations, and sectioning
• Prepare specifications for parts, assemblies, and installations; prepare complete production detail drawings
• Contribute design modifications to improve quality of product or facilitate manufacturing operations

Pay Details: $25.00 to $35.00 per hour
