    Cyber Network Defense Analyst 4

    ARSIEM is currently seeking a Cyber Network Defense Analyst 4. This role is primarily a hybrid remote position with a 2-hour onsite reporting requirement and potential business travel as necessary.

    Applicants must reside in the Continental US and work core hours in Eastern Standard Time to support one of our Government clients in Arlington, VA.

    Responsibilities

    • Acquire/collect computer artifacts and logs supporting onsite and remote engagements
    • Triage electronic devices and assess evidentiary value
    • Correlate forensic findings to network events for intrusion narrative development
    • Collect and document system state information before imaging
    • Perform forensic triage of incidents
    • Document forensic analysis from start to finish
    • Collect, process, preserve, and present computer-related evidence
    • Coordinate with Government staff to validate alerts
    • Conduct analysis of forensic images and evidence
    • Support cloud development and automation projects
    • Assist in documenting Computer Network Defense guidance

    Minimum Qualifications

    • BS in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
    • 10+ years of relevant experience in cyber forensic investigations
    • Understanding of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS in Cloud Environment
    • Ability to create forensically sound duplicates of evidence
    • Proficiency in analyzing cyber attacks
    • Knowledge of cloud development and automation tools
    • Skilled in identifying different classes of attacks

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Knowledge of M365/Azure authentication implementation strategies
    • Experience in IT operations and digital evidence analysis
    • Understanding of APIs and PowerShell scripting
    • Proficiency in scripting languages for automation in cloud environments
    • Ability to develop tools in Azure for threat identification
    • Understanding of Azure/M365 platform protection
    • Relevant certifications
    Clearance Requirement:

    This position requires an Active TS/SCI clearance and the ability to obtain Department of Homeland Security Entry on Duty Suitability.
