Our team is working with a company that is searching for an Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Manager for the Los Angeles metropolitan area with a minimum of 5 years experience and 10 years preferred.
The EH&S Manager is responsible for establishing best in class EH&S practices and systems in all locations critical for the daily operations of the business this includes the implementation and management of the Company's safety and workers compensation programs maintaining and reviewing appropriate insurance coverage for the company and contractors.
In addition, the employee in this position is responsible for supervising two members of the Safety/Compliance team, as well as, establishing internal controls, department audits and developing and maintaining safety programs and policies and procedures to assure company objectives are attained.
