Security Officer (F02)Qualifications:
Valid F02 Fire Guard certificate issued by the New York City Fire Department (FDNY) preferred, mandatory on hire.
Security guard license.
Mandated Reporter if assigned to a family shelter and this can be obtained online for free from an accredited state website.
ability to direct and control crowd in an indoor setting.
Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and the ability to follow protocols and procedures accurately.
Physical ability to perform regular patrols and respond to emergencies as needed.

Pay Rate for this site ranges from $17.00 to $24.20 per hour paid directly to the employee. Pay Rates will be determined at the time of your interview based on experience and merit.Holiday & OT Pay is also available.
