This is the work environment:

We are currently looking for a dedicated Backup Administrator (m/f/d) for our backup team. In our team, you can expect a dynamic and agile environment where we are passionate about the topic of backup.

These are the tasks:

Assuming responsibility for the installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of our backup infrastructure.
Developing solutions for highly available backup environments and preparing them for presentations. Coordinating implementation with product owners.
Handling assigned incidents as part of 2nd level support, analyzing problems, and participating in the planning and implementation of changes.
Taking over the planning and implementation of recurring migration projects and focusing on automating operational tasks in the backup environment.

We are looking for:

Required skills:

Successfully completed IT vocational training, a technical degree in computer science, or a comparable degree
Relevant professional experience in the above-mentioned field of tasks
Knowledge of backup/recovery architectures (ideally "Veeam Backup and Replication")
Knowledge of programming/scripting (e.g. PowerShell, Python, and REST)
