The Higher Vocational School for Technology (HVT) at the Rheinische Academy Cologne (RAK) offers a school-based training as a Biological-Technical Assistant (m/f/d) (shortened to BTA)

During your training as a BTA at the RAK, you will acquire all the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills for working in the specialized fields of biochemistry, microbiology, cell biology, botany, zoology, and genetic engineering.

Individual learning processes are supported by digitally designed learning arrangements, practical lessons in modern equipped training laboratories, and our competent teaching staff.

What are the goals of the BTA training?

The two- or three-year vocational initial training qualifies you to work independently in biological-natural science or medical laboratories.
