Duties:


  • Serve as a team leader, responsible for providing guidance and leading a technical staff composed of IT specialists, electronics engineers, and other information systems professionals.
  • Manage the overall design and development of information system facilities and networks, providing guidance and review of the technical products of the team.
  • Provide oral and written briefings of a technical and/or management nature to a full spectrum of government and contractor counterparts.
  • Recommend changes in priorities or resources, which impact on the assigned mission and on resource allocations
  • Serves on adhoc groups to plan and implement these actions.

Experience Requirements 2210 Series:

I have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below based on the grade level required of the position being filled: 1) Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.

Specialized experience is defined as performing ALL of the following duties:1) Providing guidance and leading a technical staff composed of IT specialists, electronics engineers, and other information systems professionals in the modernization of large-scale information systems networks (2) Managing the overall design and development of information system facilities and networks, providing guidance and review of the technical products of the team. (3) Recommending proposals for changes in manpower, budgets, operations, personnel utilization, long-range agency or office objectives, missions and functions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service NH-03 or GS-13 equivalent.
