POSITION PURPOSE

To contribute to all aspects of the business such as buying, selling, pricing, and merchandising. Ensure customers receive top-notch service by helping them promptly, enthusiastically, and knowledgeably. Support store management in daily operations, particularly in purchasing used items.

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Welcome customers, identify their needs, and handle transactions professionally and enthusiastically.
• Get familiar with products, brands, and prices to recommend suitable items based on customer needs. Enhance sales and customer satisfaction by suggesting additional products.
• Purchase used goods, reinforcing customer transactions and promoting the store's image. Encourage customers to visit again for buying, selling, or trading.
• Price and label items correctly as per pricing guidelines. Replenish stock according to merchandising plans. Maintain store displays and adhere to housekeeping standards.
• Gain expertise in using computerized POS systems for sales, purchases, and returns.

QUALIFICATIONS

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Capable of standing and walking for extended periods, up to 8 hours daily.

• Perform bending, rotating, and reaching tasks common in retail settings for handling merchandise.
• No exposure to dangerous materials or environments.
• Proficient in operating computerized sales systems.
