ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The host is essentially the face of the restaurant.

The customer service and energy the hosts show the moment the guests walk through the doors can shape their entire experience here at Tangled Roots.


PRIMARY DUTIES INCLUDE

  • Greeting the guests, the moment the enter the doors
  • Answer phone call or in person reservations
  • Handle general phone calls and transfers
  • Answer guests' questions pertaining to the restaurant and the menu
  • Assist wait staff as needed
  • Providing accurate wait times and escorting customers to the dining and bar areas.
  • Ensure we provide excellent customer service and a pleasant dining experience to our guests.
  • Address any complaints to help resolve them
  • Obtain knowledge of the beer, wine, and food menu
  • Assist other individuals as needed
  • Upkeep on the cleanliness of the restrooms and keep them stocked

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Serve Safe Certificate within 2 weeks of employment.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • For this role, you should have solid organizational and people skills to make sure our guests have a positive dining experience from the moment they arrive till their departure.
