Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS)
Space Mission Systems (SMS) Organization is seeking an
Experienced Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead to support the development and production of Next

  • Gen Space Avionics Products joining the Boeing Space Computer Products (BSCP) team located in
    El Segundo, California.


The IPT lead is responsible for managing the multi-functional team performing: estimates at completion, budget development, financial forecasting, business case development and risk, financial and competitive analyses.


Position Responsibilities:


  • Leads development of the program architecture and top level plans for a program.
  • Develops program organizational, work structures, top level program and execution plans.
  • Identifies key program level horizontal and vertical integration interfaces between major activities, teams, suppliers, partners and customers.
  • Implements customer and program communication and contact plans.
  • Initiates assignments and independently leads integration and analysis of resource forecasts and/or Estimates at Completion (EACs) for control accounts, budgets, functions or pools; financial EACs for contracts or programs.
  • Leads proposal activities and performs as TCL for BSCP New Business Gated Process and GSEP Production Platform
  • Leads or consults on the development of performance reports. Initiates assignments and independently leads integration of variance analyses and provides understanding of operational and financial performance to senior management.
  • Leads or consults on the development of cost and/or schedule performance measurement baselines, including earned value, and variance analyses.
  • Leads, analyzes and presents business cases using appropriate indices to maximize profitability and shareholder value.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):


  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • 5+ years' experience in a finance related position such as Financial Operations, Cost Management, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Planning, Contracts or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA)
  • 5+ years' experience in Program Management
  • 5+ years' experience working with and partnering with crossfunctional teams on projects and initiatives
  • 5+ years' experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years' experience working directly with executives or senior leaders
  • Experience using Program Management Best Practices
  • Experience in Agile software development

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g.

Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g.

PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience, 18 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range:
USD $146,200- $197,800
