Systems Analyst

Qualifications
- College degree in a technologyrelated field
- Minimum of seven years of experience in a similar position
- Demonstrated knowledge with experience integrating technology into a public school instructional program
Essential Responsibilities
Infrastructure Management:
- Install, configure, and maintain the schools' operating system platform
- Install new equipment and software as requested in the designated areas
- Design computer setups and maintain district images for consistent software installation and user access
- Test, monitor, support, and troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to the LAN
- Manage network devices, core switches, Aruba Airwave, Wi-Fi, Comcast Metro-Ethernet, data cabling, data racks, and other IT infrastructure components
- Manage DNS internally and externally
Documentation and Security:
- Organize and maintain documentation and processes related to system configuration, procedures, and troubleshooting
- Ensure cyber security through tools like Microsoft Defender ATP, PolicyPak, and InTune
- Manage firewalls (onprem and cloud), such as Barracuda, and surveillance/intrusion systems like OpenEye and Genetec
Systems Administration:
- Install, configure, and maintain servers and storage systems
- Provide Level support and troubleshooting
- Manage MDM (Mobile Device Management) and Active Directory for users, including MS Entra, Apple School, and MS Intune
- Ensure security and management of servers, endpoints, and endusers through tools like Ivanti EPM, SCCM, MS InTune, MS Active Directory, MS Entra and Google Admin
- Implement backups, disaster recovery solutions, and cloud platform security management tools (e.g., Acronis Cyber Protect, Barracuda Cloud Backup, Synology NAS, Amazon Glacier, MS O365 Security, Apple School, Office 365, Barracuda Cloud Control)
- Manage digital certificates and power systems/environmental monitoring systems
End User Support:
- Provide end user support and training
- Manage service desk programming and management
- Implement web filters
- Test, evaluate, and deploy software and hardware solutions
- Manage cell phone accounts and hardware procurement for the organization
Documentation and Processes Management:
- Organize and maintain documentation and processes related to system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides
Project Management and Deadlines:
- Assist in developing and monitoring department schedules and deadlines for projects and reports
- Manage tasks and projects
Confidentiality and Miscellaneous Tasks:
- Maintain confidentiality regarding all Districtrelated issues
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the administration
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk, hear, taste, and smell.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
