- Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and mentor a team of product marketers, providing guidance, support, and feedback to help them grow in their roles and achieve their professional goals.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that values creativity, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Set clear goals and expectations for team members, and regularly evaluate their performance and progress.
- Strategy Development:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including product management, sales, and executive leadership to develop and refine product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
- Ensure alignment between product marketing initiatives and overall company objectives, fostering a unified approach across departments.
- Content Creation and Campaign Management:
- Oversee the creation of compelling marketing collateral, including sales enablement materials, product documentation, website content, case studies, whitepapers, and presentations.
- Collaborate with the demand generation team to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and demand for our products
- Sales Enablement:
- Partner with sales leadership to understand the needs and challenges of the sales team and develop sales enablement programs and resources to support their success.
- Provide product training and support to sales teams, equipping them with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively sell our products in the market.
- Market Intelligence:
- Stay informed about market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs through ongoing market research and analysis.
- Use market insights to inform product roadmap decisions, pricing strategies, and go-to-market approaches, and share relevant insights with cross-functional teams.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Foster strong relationships and collaboration with product management, engineering, sales, and executive teams to ensure alignment and coordination across departments.
- Serve as a liaison between marketing and other departments to ensure consistent messaging and execution of go-to-market strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in product marketing and management roles within the technology industry.
- A proven track record of success in driving product (SaaS, IaaS) adoption and revenue growth.
- Experience and knowledge with public cloud services (i.e. AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Basic understanding of reseller/channel business models.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
- Strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies and plans.
- Passion for technology and innovation, with a deep understanding of technology products and markets.
