Job Summary:


As a Wire Harness Assembler, you will be responsible for accurately following measurements and instructions to assemble the wiring harnesses products and or prepare-kitting materials, parts with other components provided in accordance with IPC620/Mil-Spec workmanship standards and customer requirements.


Perform manual tasks such as routing wires, crimp and insert terminals into connectors, if needed cutting, stripping wires/cables, insert heat shrink-ID labels ty-wraps and sleeves, soldering, preassembly harness and follow up internal procedures.

Operate cutting-stripping pliers, heat gun as well as other manual tools.


Duties:


  • Assemble/routing wirecables and components through the use of the harness, follow up documentation, parts lists, equipment and tools according with customer specs
  • Read blueprints and written instructions
  • Ability to gather materials and tooling necessary to perform work
  • Cutting, stripping, soldering, marking and terminating wires using hand and semiautomated equipment
  • Fill out travelers accordingly and keep all paperwork together with Harness
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections of inprocess assemblies and finished products to ensure they meet both internal and customer specifications
  • Help to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment (FOD)
  • Effectively use measuring instruments such as volt/amp meters, measuring tape etc.
  • Follow up safety policies, quality standards, and operating procedures.
  • Additional duties may be assigned by supervisor or department manager

Qualification and Skills:


  • Harness Assembler, kitting, cutting, stripping, crimping, etc.
  • Assembly/production experience and a strong mechanical aptitude
  • Attention to detail, Motivated
  • Excellent hand dexterity
  • Ability to handle small parts
  • Possesses good communication skills and a great attitude

Pay:
$ $27.00 per hour
