Description

The information System Specialist role provides maintenance of the computer desktop environment by analyzing requirements, resolving problems and installing hardware and software solutions.

The Information System Specialist is responsible for the administration and internal support of the company's PCs, printers, servers and related equipment.

• Provide support and resolve problems to the end user's satisfaction on a daily basis
• Monitor and resolve quickly and effectively to request received
• Assist with any questions about our software
• Provide general support for our software onsite and help with documentation
• Install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software
• Assist with onboarding new of users
• Ensure each workstation has a computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, hard drive and any additional specialized equipment
• Install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software
• Report issues to the Project Manager
• Manage PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images and software
• Assign users and computers to proper groups
• Provide professional and efficient tech support as requested at clients sites
• Other duties as required

• Associate Degree in Information Systems, Networking or related field a plus
• A strong passion and working knowledge of current technology
• Possess excellent people skills and writing skills
• WAN troubleshooting and diagnostic
• Programming knowledge is a plus
• Must possess a valid driver's license in the primary state of residence
