Job DescriptionSoftware Developer III Duration: 5 years contract- long termPlace: Washington DC REMOTE- Prefer local candidatesPay Rate: Market/FlexibleClient: Federal gov.Role:The Software Developer III is involved in designing and architecting software solutions. The Software Developer III analyzes requirements, identifies appropriate technologies, and creates robust, scalable, and maintainable software architectures. The Software Developer III actively participates in the development process, proposes solutions to complex technical challenges, writes high-quality code and implements features according to specifications. As senior developers, they work on critical or complex modules of the software and may be involved in debugging and troubleshooting issues.

Minimum Educational Requirements/Professional Certification(s):

Bachelor of Arts or Science degree in Computer Science or a related Information Technology or Software Engineering field of study from a four-year accredited university

Minimum Professional Experience:

More than 7 years of experience in the following areas:

Designing, coding, fixing, and debugging software.
Maintaining, upgrading, and improving the performance of existing software Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Windows Server Operating System Page
Utilizing .NET frameworks, C#, and MVC model to develop Web applications
Monitoring systems operations processes and assessing infrastructure activities in the areas of processing, utilization, performance, instance availability and security
Experience in configuration management and system deployment procedure
Experiences in enterprise search configuration and setup
