    GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION

    The Applications Developer Level III shall perform feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management. Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools. Troubleshooting, remediating, and optimizing any and all SharePoint based issues, while also working with engineering requirements and providing strategic recommendations to management. The ideal candidate will possess an inherent interest in learning the latest technology and proven ability and the self-motivation to learn quickly and solve engineering problems collaboratively.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Service Delivery:

    · Designs, develops, enhances, debugs, and implements software. Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications.

    · Researches, tests, builds, and coordinates the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements. Designs and develops new software products or major enhancements to existing software. Evaluates effectiveness.

    · Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.

    · Consults with project teams and end users to identify application requirements.

    · Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.

    · Provides application/server maintenance, associated hardware and software licenses support (currency and upgrades as required) and develops the customer's:

    o Application/software process manuals

    o Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

    o Document repository

    o Mission performance metrics

    o Technical reports

    · Proficiency in MS Office applications.

    · Ability to work independently and function effectively as a member of a team and adhere to strict deadlines.

    · Ability to understand and communicate technical/business solutions to personnel at all levels of the organization.

    · Must be able to demonstrate extremely strong interpersonal skills, initiative, and work ethic.

    · Ability to work odd hours outside of standard schedule as needed, e.g. weekends or after normal work hours.

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS

    · 8+ years of experience using SharePoint 2013 or newer versions and SharePoint Designer, HTML and JavaScript

    · 8+ years of experience with relational database (i.e. SQL Server)

    · 2+ years of experience using Nintex Workflows

    · 8+ years of experience consulting clients on potential SharePoint Solutions, client presentations, translating business requirements into technical requirements.

    · 8+ years of experience with System testing and User Acceptance Testing

    · Experience leading a full-cycle migration of production SharePoint environment to newer version (i.e. SharePoint 2013 to 2016)

    · Microsoft Certified System Engineer (SharePoint 2013 or newer) preferred.
