Title:
Medical Practice Patient Representative (Clerical Assistant) - NHMP Danbury Hospital Medicine. Per Diem, Every Saturday & Sunday, 8 hour shifts, 6:00am - 2:00pm along with half of the network holidays.
Summary:
Provides clerical and administrative support and coordinates the patient care activities for physician practice.
Responsibilities:
- Creation of daily patient assignment list and distribution to providers, patient care floors, case management, and administration.
- Answers phones, routes calls, take messages, conveys information, and assures accurate communication.
- Processes billing reconciliation, charging and recording.
- Notification of Primary Care Physician of Admissions and Discharges of patients.
- Presents a professional appearance and image.
- Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Other Information:
Required:
High School Diploma/GED. Medical office experience, Electronic Medical Record experience, and knowledge of medical terminology.
Per Diem Pay Rate:
$22.58 hourly
