Responsibilities
- Good knowledge of firewall and network administration
- Knowledge of ERP systems
- Familiarity with common system and software interfaces (e.g. OPC UA, OPC DA, XML)
- Windows administration
- Experience with physical network structures and network setup
- Ideally, basic knowledge of electrical engineering or a background in the field
Qualifications
- Troubleshooting network issues within the group
- Setting up hardware, such as printers and clients
- Assisting employees with hardware and software issues
- Troubleshooting and resolving interface problems
- Windows administration
- Documenting IT processes
- Working in a team and communicating with external IT service providers
- Willingness to occasionally work outside of regular business hours
- Implementing security policies and configuring and administering network components (switches, routers, firewalls, proxies, etc.)
- Assisting with the design and development of existing firewall and network infrastructures
- Troubleshooting and resolving communication issues with electrical
