Your checklist:

  • High school diploma
  • Strong skills in math, German, and physics
  • Organized and able to negotiate
  • Interest in sustainable topics

Your tasks:

  • Drive the airport's goal of becoming carbon neutral through sustainable construction projects
  • Organize and coordinate meetings and discussions with external and internal partners
  • Support project leaders during construction site visits and inspections
  • Assist with measuring and recording existing buildings and structures at the airport

Your journey:

  • 3year program
  • Commute between Cologne and the university every 3 months
  • Learn methods and concepts at DHBW in Mosbach that you can apply at the airport
  • Gain experience in various areas such as construction, building services, and maintenance during your practical phases

Final destination:
After completing your training, you can choose which areas you would like to continue working in.
Previous apprentices in civil engineering now work as project managers in building construction or as civil engineers.
