General Purpose

A Billing Specialist, or Billing Clerk, is responsible for overseeing the billing process for customers or patients.

Their duties include processing payments on behalf of a customer or patient, maintaining organized financial records to aide reporting and calculating bill totals by looking through previous financial statements.

Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must have work experience with accounts receivable within a Skilled Nursing Facility
  • Benefits and authorization experience
  • Ability to multitask
  • Must have experience with electronic medical record systems.
  • Must have Fingerprint Clearance Card
