Schmitt Engineering is a medium-sized company based in Erlangen. With many years of engineering expertise in various industries, we are a partner to the industry. Our activities cover the entire process chain from planning and project management to development and construction, as well as production, assembly, and commissioning.

Your responsibilities:

Preparation of conformity declarations (CE) according to EU directives for HEP systems
Conceptualization, development, and commissioning of new production and testing systems for medical components (e.g. X-ray generators/emitters)
Ensuring compliance with legal requirements and safety regulations
Preparation of system documentation, including circuit diagrams
Writing risk assessments and operating instructions

Your profile:

Completed degree in electrical engineering or a comparable qualification
First professional experience in hardware development for production systems
Knowledge of EPLAN (circuit design)
Knowledge of standards and directives (Machinery Directive/Low Voltage Directive)
Good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
