We are seeking a Human Resource Manager to join our team.

The Human Resource Manager will be responsible for planning, leading, directing, developing, and coordinating the policies, activities, and staff of the Human Resource (HR) department.

This role will ensure legal compliance and the implementation of the organization's mission and talent strategy. The Human Resource Manager will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities.


Role and Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with senior leadership to understand the organization's goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
  • Administer or oversee the administration of human resource programs including compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Identify staffing and recruiting needs; develop and execute best practices for hiring and talent management.
  • Monitor and ensure the organization's compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices; review and modify policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Facilitate professional development, training, and certification activities for HR staff.
  • Partner with employees and management to communicate various human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, and government regulations.
  • Respond to employee relation issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations, and civil rights complaints.
  • Support the H2A program by aiding with the processing of paperwork and administration of the H2A guest worker program, supporting the Director of HR.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management or a related field. A combination of education and work experience will be considered.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in human resources management.
  • Background in employment law and other government compliance regulations is a must.
  • HR certification is a plus (SHRM, etc).
  • Professional level of Spanish

  • Ability to objectively coach employees and management through complex, difficult, and emotional issues.
  • Ability to research and analyze various types of data information.
  • Ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation, or government law.

Physical Demands:


The Physical demands here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to perform the essential functions of this job.
