Responsibilities:

• Pay is BASE SALARY + COMMISSION. Additional bonuses are available.
• Estimates could range from Inland Empire, Orange County and Los Angeles County.
• Truck is provided after probationary period at companies discretion.
• Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates for construction projects
• Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine scope of work and required materials
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes
• Analyze project requirements and develop detailed cost breakdowns
• Utilize construction estimating software
• Identify potential costsaving measures
• Prepare bid packages and submit proposals to clients
• Participate in board meetings, jobwalks, inspections, etc

Experience:

• Minimum of 35 years of experience in construction estimating or related field
• Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices
• Proficiency in using construction estimating software
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills for accurate cost calculations
• Ability to read and interpret project plans, specifications, and other technical documents
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients
• Detailoriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of OSHA safety guidelines as it pertains to the industry

Skills/Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills is a must
• Ability to read and comprehend construction plans/blueprints (drawings/specifications)
• Reporting/Organizational skills
• B-License is a plus but not required
• Must be able to utilize Google Suite (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Tasks, Google meets etc )
• Must be able to carry up to 25 lbs.
• This position may require the use of ladders.

Pay:
$65, $92,500.00 per year
