    Description

    We're looking for a Procedure Scheduler to join our team at Saint Mary's Medical Group!

    Responsibilities:

    • Schedule all surgical procedures and handle necessary authorizations.
    • Ensure accurate clinical and billing information is documented.
    • Receive procedure requests from providers and schedule accordingly.
    • Coordinate with various departments, following established guidelines.
    • Communicate with patients regarding pre-procedure preparations and post-procedure care instructions.
    • Maintain open communication with hospital departments and physician offices for schedule changes.
    • Ability to multitask and coordinate schedules effectively.

    Qualifications:

    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

    • High School Diploma, Associates degree preferred.
    • Knowledge of insurance companies, benefits, and authorization requirements.
    • Fluent in medical terminology and diagnostic procedures.
    • Previous scheduling experience in a health care setting is required.
