    Description

    Are you a Project Manager looking to join one of North Carolina's premiere General Contractor's? Our client is looking to add a Project Manager to their growing team in their Asheville, NC office.

    Our client is a General Contractor founded in North Carolina, and have grown to be one of the leading General Contractors in the Southeast, with a strong presence in both North and South Carolina.

    This GC focuses on education, healthcare, commercial, and light industrial construction projects ranging $10M-$80M. They have multiple projects upcoming in the Asheville area and are looking for a Project Manager with experience in their core markets to join their team
    The Project Manager will be responsible for:

    Coordinate and managing all necessary project resources from start to finish on time and within budget in a highly collaborative environment.

    Manages personnel development.
    Communicate job expectations, enforce policies & procedures, and manage & coach employees.

    Conduct regular meetings with the team to ensure work is on schedule, within budget and complies with technical, safety and legal requirements.

    Must be a strategic problem solver who can add value to our customer's projects.
    May work with pre-construction team in development of project
    Manage budget and financial reporting, interpret and analyze reports to ensure adherence to project budget.
    The successful Project Manager will have the following experience:
    ~5+ years of construction experience with a general contractor is required
    ~ Experience working on ground-up and renovations of commercial, education, healthcare, and light industrial construction projects
    ~ Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or relevant degree preferred
    ~ Applicable Project Management Software experience preferred
    ~ and their impact on project success
    ~ Maintains good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with anyone from clients to subcontractors
    ~ Local to the Asheville market is preferred, though relocators will be considered
