- Proactive Oversight: You will determine the best procedures and meticulously inspect materials to maintain the highest quality standards.
- Team Collaboration: Engage in agency coordination efforts, working seamlessly with our skilled team members to execute a sequence of related engineering tasks.
- Quality Assurance: You'll review and provide recommendations to address nonconformance situations and change management events, contributing to the continuous improvement of our projects.
- Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management with pathway to professional licensure/certification.
- Five (5+) or more years of related experience, preferably on IDOT, ISTHA, CDOT, CTA or Class I Railroad projects of equivalent complexity.
- Experience interfacing with contractors, in assisting in dispute resolution, and management oversight of TYLin and sub-consultant staff assigned to the various aspects of the projects.
- Must have good communication skills and be able to maintain neat and accurate records.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safe work practices.
- Must be able to receive verbal and or written instructions and perform tasks independently.
