Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist at Memorial Healthcare System

Our team in Miramar, Florida is seeking motivated Respiratory Therapists who are passionate about providing high-quality care to patients with cardiopulmonary disorders. We offer a variety of opportunities in settings like the ED, Trauma, and Critical Care, where you can utilize innovative therapies and evidence-based care to make a difference.

Summary: Provides essential care for patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.

Responsibilities:

Responds to codes and emergency calls.
Assesses patient condition and administers appropriate treatment.
Monitors, documents, and communicates patient status.
Educates patients and families on illnesses and available resources.
Evaluates and updates respiratory care procedures based on best practices and patient outcomes.

STANDARDS OF BEHAVIOR

Education and Certification Requirements:

Must have completed an accredited Respiratory Therapy program. Various certifications and credentials are necessary, such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, and licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist in the State of Florida.
