Position Overview:
As a ServiceNow Architect, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions within our organization.
This role requires a deep understanding of ServiceNow capabilities, best practices, and a strong ability to architect solutions that meet the organization's needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Architecture:
Design end-to-end ServiceNow solutions that align with business objectives and requirements. Develop technical architecture, data model, integrations, and workflows to support business processes.
Technical Leadership:
Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices, standards, and methodologies. Mentor team members on ServiceNow platform capabilities and implementation strategies.
Requirements Analysis:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements. Translate requirements into technical specifications and design documents.
Platform Development:
Develop the ServiceNow platform using JavaScript, GlideScript, HTML, and CSS to meet specific business needs. Configure workflows, forms, UI policies, and catalog items.
Integration:
Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using REST APIs, SOAP, MID Servers, and other integration techniques.
Ensure data integrity and security in integrations.Performance Optimization:
Identify opportunities to optimize ServiceNow performance and scalability. Implement performance tuning measures and monitor system performance to ensure optimal operation.
Governance and Compliance:
Ensure adherence to governance, compliance, and security standards in ServiceNow implementations. Implement security controls, access restrictions, and audit mechanisms as necessary.
Documentation and Training:
Create technical documentation including design documents, architecture diagrams, and configuration guides. Provide training and knowledge transfer to team members and end-users.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent work experience.
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications preferred.
- Proven experience architecting and implementing complex ServiceNow solutions in enterprise environments.
- Indepth knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, modules, and components.
- Strong knowledge of the following ServiceNow modules: ITSM, ITOM, ITFM, HRSD, PPM and SPM
- Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST, SOAP, and other protocols.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
