    Description
    Vaco is hiring for an Accountant for a growing accounting team located in Columbia, SC. This role will be fully on-site.

    Overview:
    • Perform a variety of bookkeeping tasks in the firm's accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
    • Posting manual and imported journal entries
    • Reviewing and reconciling accounts
    • Compiling reports and preparing routine tax filings
    The ideal candidate will maintain a high degree of accuracy in preparing and entering financial data while possessing attention to detail and problem-solving skills. To be successful in this role, effective communication, organizational and time management skills, along with the ability to prioritize, multi-task and work independently will be required.

    Skills & Education:
    • 4-year BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university
    • 2-5+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experience
